Chatterbook

Working on Chatterbook . Wondering what the book title should be?

Surreal object- Heart on my Sleeve

Working on this sculpture for the "Still Life series. Should come alive once painted with black underglaze.

Sunglasses and Mobile Phone

I added a couple of objects to my "Still Life" collection. Quite enjoying making these. It makes me observe objects closely as well as think how an illustration can be turned into a sculpture.

Mentor Meeting- April 26th 2025

 1. Assemblages

Do attempt assemblages. It could lead to magical outcomes.

Put some thought on objects you might like to use.

Use paper, clay and objects in a playful manner to create something unexpected.

2. Spaces to exhibit

Ceramic Art London might be a place to showcase ceramic art

Also present works to Threshold in the near future

3. Let the audience do some work

Do not present everything to the audience on a platter. Let them think. Don't make the works too literal, make them more abstract. Create spin offs of proverbs/ idioms instead of direct translations.

4. The "Still Life" series is interesting. Reminiscent of Katherine Morling's work . Maybe I can add a mix of elements from stories which would be surreal . A series of objects that are both real and imaginary or elemnts from stories I have read or stories I have encountered in my life would make the installation exciting
